College spoken word / slam sensation, Jess Del'Balzo (Emerson), performs her "With some people, it's like smoking." Three other leaders among Boston area college-age performance poets, Dan Ames (Harvard) Jamei Bauer (Mt. Ida) Jonathan Chin (Boston Univ) joined Del'Balzo as BPS Jan 31 feature. Billed as the "Boston Intercollegiate Slam Team," they packed the Cantab Underground and shook the house hard enough for Redline passengers to report tremors and sweats. They continue to make bigger waves every month in rooms around this town and maybe yours.
